Seriously. This is the fucking best shit ever. No point trying to be overly articulate here. I just want to express my absolute love of what Phobocosm create. Essential listening for death worshippers. 𝖙𝖜𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖉𝖘𝖔𝖓𝖔𝖋𝖜𝖆𝖙𝖘𝖔𝖓

Canadian Death Metal. I approached this with caution as I usually find DM a little too artificially abrasive & go for MDM instead... :) But the depth & lugubriousness of those vocals beckoned me closer & I am now totally hooked! An absolute gem of an album! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

Phobocosm are getting ready to unleash something huge if Everlasting Void is a harbinger of their next full-length album. Building on the cavernous death metal foundations of Deprived and Bringer of Drought, this maintains Phobocosm’s kinetic assault while dialing down the post-metal elements of Bringer of Drought. Vocals remain a highlight for being so guttural yet highly intelligible. The band also honours their greatest influence, Immolation, with a great take on Here in After. Buy this. Ippocalyptica

Spun it about 5 times over the past weekend, in a sea of overbearing DM this demo hits hard with those blasts that groove along with the pummel of the riff, and solos and synths that take you somewhere else, better than the record versions imo. bacon_cakez
